| Philanthropy
Epsilon Iota chapter of Gamma Phi Beta has two philanthropies for which we volunteer and raise money.
Our international philanthropy is Camp Fire USA, a proactive approach in keeping kids off the streets and helping them grow into leaders as well as self-sufficient and confident adults.
Our local philanthropy is Orphan Helpers, an organization that tends to the spiritual, emotional, educational, and physical needs of orphaned, abandoned, and incarcerated children.
In order to raise money for these good causes we put on multiple events throughout the school year including Moonball (where we collect donations and take pledges for playing volleyball for 12 hours) and Greek God (a hilarious competition for the fraternity guys). We have also raised money for other causes that are close to some of our own sisters' hearts such as brain cancer awareness and leukemia research. |
